Watches for the men of your life

Every man needs a good quality sport watch. This is one way to be certain the man in your life won’t ruin his good dress watch. These sporty, rugged and good-looking watches are just the time piece needed to keep any outdoorsman, sportsman, or just a hard-working man stylishly on time. Although there are several price ranges to choose from in sport watches, I chose watches in the middle price range. I saw very inexpensive sport watches for as little as $15.00 and I saw some pretty extravagantly priced sport watches for several hundred dollars. The watches I am highlighting are from about $50.00 to $100.00. I think this is a good price range for the average consumer to give as a gift for a good quality sport watch. The watches are listed in descending order by price.
The first and most expensive sport watch on my list is called the Classic Field Watch from L.L. Bean and the cost is $89.00 for the stainless case with a black face. The gold-plated case has white face and cost $99.00. They both have black, premium water-resistant leather bands. This is by far the dressiest look in a sport watch and is much more sleek in design. It has Swiss-jeweled movement and long battery life. The stainless steel case resists nicks and scratches and has a guaranteed water resistance to 300 feet.

This second watch is by Casio and is the Illuminated G-Shock Tri-Graph Watch and sales for $79.00 at Target. This is a highly durable watch with a multifunction illuminated face display. This watch is all black and has a nice sporty look. It has a stopwatch and countdown timer and is water resistant to 200 meters..  You can also have a look here for Invicta Watches Review

The third watch is a Casio 200 Meter Water Resistant Watch and is available at J.C. Penney for $74.96. This is a nice looking watch with a black resin band. It is shock resistant and 200 meter water resistant, with an automatic EL back-light. It has a 1/100th second stop watch and an hourly time signal. This watch has an auto calendar, four multifunction alarms and a snooze alarm. It also has a 10-year battery.

The forth watch is a Triax Swift Analog from the Nike Store and costs $69.00. This watch has a very unique and distinct look from the other sport watches. It has a polyurethane blue “S” shape in a curved band. This special band is designed for comfort and fit on the wrist. It has an analog display with easy backlighting. It is water resistant to 100 meters.

This fifth watch is available at Kohls and called the Timex FLIX Ironman Triathalon Comfort-Strap Watch. That’s quite a name for a tried and true Timex sport watch. It is $64.95 and is loaded with functions such as a 100-hour chronograph with a 100-lap memory recall, a training log that stores work outs by date and many more options. It has five alarms, two time zones and several more functions. It is water resistant to 100 meters and the face lights up for nighttime visibility. The strap is padded black fabric with mesh for comfort.

The number six watch on the list comes from Wal-Mart and is the Timex Ironman Data Link USB Watch. The cost of this watch is $60.86 and has huge quantities of features for this price. It is not only a watch, but is actually a PDA as well. This watch can be connected to a PC through the USB link and everything on the watch can be set through easy to use, free software. The features with this watch are just too numerous to list. For example, it has up to 200 alarms, 200 countdown timers with messages and event counter. The personal organizer’s functions include a schedule mode, hold hundreds of phone numbers, up to 200 appointments, occasions, contacts and notes. This handsome watch has a silver round resin case with integrated USB port and a black resin strap.

The seventh watch is a Casio Atomic Analog-Digital Watch at J.C. Penney. This watch is the last and least expensive on the list at a cost of $52.46. This watch has an automatic calendar that is preprogrammed until the year 2096. It has 1/100th second stop watch and is water resistant to 50 meters. It is analog/digital code with an approximate two year battery and an electro-luminescent back-light with after glow.
